Avery Poindexter

Avery Poindexter is an academic advisor in the KU Undergraduate Biology Department. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Behavioral Science. During her time at KU, Avery participated in sexual assault survivor advocacy through CARE sisters, was a member of a sorority, and worked as a Research Assistant in the Clinical Child Psychology Department.

In Avery’s free time she likes to do embroidery, go hiking and camping, and find the best treats at the Lawrence farmer’s market.
