Undergraduate Biology Student Researcher: Kamar Chahine

Kamar Chahine is a senior majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and works in Dr. Kristi Neufeld’s lab. She is a chemistry minor and a University Honors student.

KU, Haskell students to present research projects at 24th annual symposium

Thirteen undergraduate students and six postbaccalaureate scholars supported by KU’s Office for Diversity in Science Training will present posters explaining their research from 4 to 5:30 p.m. April 12 in Navarre Hall at Haskell.

Biology Major named 2024 Goldwater Scholar

KU has two 2024 Barry M. Goldwater Scholars: Kaitlyn (Kit) Savoy, junior in Biology, and Cecilia Paranjothi, junior in chemistry. This year’s KU recipients are the 78th and 79th KU undergraduates to be given a Goldwater scholarship since they first were awarded in 1989.
